Parent Representative Council

The Parent Representative Council plays a vital role in the life of our school and all parents are encouraged to become involved

During 2010 the Parent Representative Council (PRC) was formed. A constitution was developed and protocols were put in place.

In helping to build and strengthen our positive school community the Parent Representative Council has three sub-committees which parents are invited and encouraged to join. These are:
1. Events – organising social and fundraising activities
2. Maintenance – supporting the school in the maintenance and development of school facilities
3. Education – supporting staff in policy and curriculum development

Although activities and events vary from year to year, the Parent Representative Council  is involved in organising:

  • Classroom Parent Representatives
  • Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day stalls
  • Providing light refreshments for special events (e.g. Open Day and Prep Orientation)
  • Twilight Sports
  • School disco
  • School Fete
  • Trivia night
