ANZAC Day

24 April 2015 | General Interest

Mother of God School Community gathered together to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the landing of Australian and New Zealand soldiers at Gallipoli. Our Senior School students led the ceremony and Holly shared a moving recount of her Grandfather Patrick's record of service during the Second World War. We also reflected on the courage and sacrifice of our service men and women over the past one hundred years.

We are thankful that we live in this free and peaceful country and hope and pray for continued peace - peace in our world, peace in our country, our communities, our school community, in our families and in our hearts.
